🎮 How to redeem a code
- Launch Cat Battles and let the lobby finish loading. The code box does not appear until the server is fully up.
- Click the cogwheel in the top-left corner. That opens Settings, and the code field sits inside it.
- Paste the code into the text box. Watch the edges — a space picked up from copying counts as a wrong character.
- Press Redeem. The Coins land on your account straight away, with no confirmation screen.
🪙 What the codes are worth
Everything in the current list pays Coins and nothing else — no furs, no emotes, no boosts. Coins are the currency the ability shop uses, so the whole list converts into ability progress. The ability guide walks through which one to buy first; furs are cosmetic and can wait.
If you are starting fresh, redeeming all 5 codes is enough to buy a single ability outright, which is a materially different first session from the default one.
🛠️ If a code will not go through
Work through these in order. In practice one of them solves it nine times out of ten.
- Check the capitals. Codes are case-sensitive.

- Confirm you have not claimed it already. Each code is once per account, so a second attempt on the same account fails by design.
- Rejoin the server. The code box occasionally shows up before the backend is ready. Leave, rejoin, try again.
- Try the other device. A handful of mobile players report the redeem button being unresponsive in the app; the same code goes through on desktop.
If a code is genuinely dead, it gets moved to the retired list below rather than quietly deleted, so the page stays honest about what has been tried.
